    Keep Up With the World

While some folks like to use their RV to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, others prefer staying connected when they travel. There is not a right way to enjoy your camping experience, so we are here to give some insight on how you can stay connected on the road with Wifi in your RV.

    Mobile Wifi

One of the most common complaints most people have when traveling or camping is that they can't use wifi on their devices, causing them to use data and get charged more money. For people who travel a lot, it is important that they have options on how to obtain wifi and a secure internet connection.

We will tell you some ways to access wifi as well as some tools you can buy for your RV that will help you access the internet.

There are 3 main ways that you can access the internet when you are traveling in an RV:

    1. Public/Private Accessible WIFI Networks – Restaurants, campgrounds, public places that offer wifi in store

This is the most common way to obtain internet access. Most shops, restaurants and campgrounds today have wifi access available for customers. You can call ahead or check the company's website before hand to see if they have wifi.

    2. Satellite Connection

Unlike cable, a satellite provider such as DISH offers the ability to give you a signal no matter where your travels take you.

    3. Wireless Service Provides

If you have a smartphone from one of the major wireless providers, you can purchase the ability to have your phone be a wireless hot spot. Basically what this means is that if your phone is capable, you can make your cell phone be a router, therefore giving you an option to connect multiple devices to wifi via your phone. This is something that many people who travel a lot opt to have.

    Wifi Products

If you want to know what products you can use to get wifi access, here are a couple that might be helpful!

    WiFi Sky Ranger

With the WiFiRanger Sky you can extend your range and strengthen any accessible WiFi signal, allowing you to search the web, download videos and stream your favorite tv shows without restrictions! Some wifi strengtheners come without paying attention to security, but with the Sky Ranger, a built-in firewall provides a wall of security between you and users on the public WiFi network. The number one choice for full time RVers, the Sky Ranger is a great choice to help you stay connected.

    The Wire

The WirieAP+ is a complete long range wireless solution for your RV that also allows multiple WiFi  devices to connect to the internet at the same time. If you are looking for a quick and easy solution for your interenet problems, The Wire is the way to go. Simply mount The WirieAP+ and run the power cable (included) to a 12V power source and you are in business!
