Earl and Ann Allen opens CSRA Camperland.

In 1968, when Earl and Ann Allen opened a small RV sales lot, they didn't expect much from the 1/2-acre experiment. They were in the dry cleaning business. But, almost 40 years later, CSRA Camperland has grown into a 4.5-acre, thriving business.

In 1972, Joe Price is hired as the service manager. He is recognized as one of the most knowledgeable RV Service Technicians in the southeast.

In 1974, their son, Earl (Doc) Allen, Jr., began working at the dealership, and in 1977, the first permanent building was finished, including a showroom, parts, and accessories store.

In 1992, Doc took over, remodeling the dealership in 1995 with new buildings, including a 4800 square-foot showroom, 3600 square-foot parts and accessories department, and a 6-bay drive-through service department with vehicle and motorhome lifts.
